Her husband is not mentioned in the document, which further proves he was deceased prior to that date. One source indicates that after her first husband Samuel died, she then married George Morgan. But yet another source indicates that George Morgan was a husband of Ann DeLong, daughter of John Francis DeLong.
In checking Fairfield Co., OH deed records, Karen Feisel found no indication that anyone with the surname Leith/Leeth/Leath ever sold any Fairfield County property between 1801-1899. So if Ann and her husband lived in that county, they evidently were not land owners.1 |
