| (MentionedIn) Obituary | 12 June 1925 | He is mentioned in the obituary of Charles Seth Kellogg on 12 June 1925 at Omaha World Herald, Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska; Seven Children Left As Both Parents Die Double funeral services were held yesterday at West Lawn cemetery for Mr and Mrs Charles S Kellogg 5909 North Thirty-fifth street. Grouped around the caskets were seven children of the couple who have been separated since the death of their mother last January. Kellogg at the time was a patient in a tuberculosis sanitarium in Colorado, and physicians advised him not to leave the climate to attend her funeral. Mrs Kellogg's body was placed in a vault at the cemetery and Monday, Kellogg who returned from the west several weeks ago, died at the home of his sister, Mrs F E Evans, 4629 Harney street. The children range from 4 to 15. Wilber 4, and Gene, 6 have been living on the farm of their uncle, Fred Kellogg, south of Council Bluffs; Henry, 8 has been with friends of the family in Nebraska City. Twin boys, Ray and Roy, 11, have been in the Masonic home; Emma, 12, the only daughter, has been with Mrs Evans and Charles jr, 15, the oldest boy, has been living with his aunt, Mrs J W Teacock, Fort Dodge, Ia.1 |
