There are three indexed entries. Page 188 of a typecript shows her name spelled Lethe and the date as 15 Dec 1857. The handwritten index register shows her name as Lethe (indexed Litha) and a wedding date of Dec 20th. That index also shows her mother's name as Hannah Ferrel but doesn't give her father's name. He is 45, she is 35, both born Monongalia county, and they are both widowed. Another handwritten book shows her name as Lethe and the date as Dec 15th. Assumption: Dec 15th is probably when the licence was granted. |
