| Burial* | He was buried at Berea aka Maple Grove Cemetery (in Hooven), Cleves - Miami Township, Hamilton Co., Ohio, "Bailey Smith, son of Harrison & Mary Ann Harrell" At one point, there was no proof his name was Bailey Smith as all we had was his initials in the 1850 census. Doug Harrell, who is a living (2009) descendant of Harrison Harrell, said "I have not found anything on the correct B. S. other than the 1850 census. (I'm wondering if he died before 1860.) Regardless, there is nothing (so far) that actually gives his name.Given that the Harrells liked to repeat names, it seems logical that Bailey would be the given name. But, technically, I have found no proof that B. S. is Bailey Smith." Subsequently, Doug went to cemetery and photographed the tombstone which actually says Bailey Smith.
