Death*9 April 1909 Moses B Harrell died on 9 April 1909 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, at age 80 Undertaker's Report of Death (#8967) states the following: born KY, father's and mother's birthplace Germany (see below), age 80, place of death 750 W 61 St, buried Oakwoods on Apr 11, undertaker F F Robert, died of pneumonia. Lived in Illinois 50 years, Chicago 29 years. Note: the 1850 census says that both parents were born in Virginia, not Germany. There isn't an informant other than the physician (M E B Thompson).2
Burial*11 April 1909 He was buried on 11 April 1909 at Oakwoods Cemetery, Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, per his death report, he is buried in Oakwoods. However, someone erected a (memorial?) tombstone at the opposite end of the state in Cairo, Pulaski County, IL. FindAGrave has entries for both places.4
