They got as far as the Missouri River in the latter part of June in this same year, where they decided to remain for the present. They built temporary homes and next spring 1847, took up some land, put in a crop and continued to reside there until the 1yth [sic] day of May, 1848, when they started again for the rocky Mountains. They arrived at the place now occupied by Salt Lake City the 24th day of September, being four months and eight days on the road".1

Marriage*27 August 1854 He married Semira LaCelestine Rosalin Bassett, daughter of Oliver Harmon Bassett and Lucy Celesta Stanton aka Laah Ciel Manatoi, on 27 August 1854 at Utah "to their union ten children were born" There are photos of them in "A Brief History of Springville UT" SLC 979.224/S2 H2h.1 
Ordinance*21 November 1855 Lyman Stephen Wood and Semira LaCelestine Rosalin Bassett partipicated in an ordinance on 21 November 1855; Semira and Stephen were sealed on this date. An early LDS church records index on film # 1750659, card #301a gives the following:
