| CAUTION* | David Covey has the following CAUTIONARY INFORMATION: There has to be a missing generation here, because if David the son of Hope and Lydia was born circa 1740s, then it's extremely unlikely he would have marriage in 1804 to a woman born in 1785, and then fathered children starting in 1805. I have a copy of a handwritten chart written by a man named Fred Stickler (deceased long ago). I believe it was written before the Quist books. This is what he has on David: David Covey (wife was "Mary") 7th Day Baptist Church Records - - - - - Record of David Walter Covey 7th Regt. Dutchess NY Revolutionary War - - - - - US Census 1790 David Covey of Bristol Conn. also David Covey Cuskinton Maine - - - - - US Census 1810 David Covey & David Covey Jr Hopkinton, St Lawrece Co NY I am not researching this line, so leave it to others to figure out. But if you find proof, let me know and I'll fix up this information for the sake of others who are researching the line. | |
