Rhinehart & Bassett Family Tree - Death notice in the Franklin Democrat 10 Aug 1860. Died. At his residence in Laurel Township, on Saturday, July 28th James Ervin. The deceased was a soldier of the war of 1812, and served in two Campaigns on the northern frontiers, at the time of his enlistment he was a citizen of Butler Co. Ohio. He was attended to the grave by a large number of his friends and acquaintences, who feel that they have lost a kind friend and good citizen. J.H.F.
