GROENENDYCK, JOHANNES, son of Pieter of New York, was sheriff of Albany County 1698-9; later, trader in Schenectady, where he was buried in the church Dec. --, 1739; his wife continued his business there some years longer. He married Delia Huylers (Childers) in New York, Sept. 19, 1694.
