He married Delia Huylers (Childers) in New York, Sept. 19, 1694. Ch. bp: Maria, in New York, Sept. 16, 1696; Sara, April 28, 1700, in Albany; Pieter, Sept. 7, 1701, in Albany; Henrik, Sept. 19, 1703, in Albany; Anna.

Marriage 19 September 1694 Delia Cuyler; The will of Anna Cyler dated 3 Jul 1702 mentions her daughter Delia, wife of Johanes Grovendyke. Johanes is also one of the executors.1

Written in Dutch, translated into English - "Year 1713. The 29 Oct the banns were registered of Samuel Groendenkijk, young man, born on the South River and residing in Midwood, and Sara Probasco, young lady, born and residing in the New Lots under Midwood."
His marriage to Sara Probasco was less than a year - no issue
