Military between 1911 and 1912 He was in the Army and I have several letters from the time period he was supposedly chasing Pancho Villa back and forth across the border. I also have his military record which doesn't mention that part. He was enlisted by Capt A.C. Christie, as a private of Company M, 10th Regiment (Infantry), at Columbus Barracks OH on 18 Mar 1911. He had blue eyes, dark brown hair, and was 5' 9.25". On 25 Dec 1911 he was recommended for discharge on account of 1) Epilepsy and 2) Cardiac dilation, chronic - existed prior to enlistment. The paperwork finally was processed and he was honorably discharged 24 Feb 1912. I need to re-look at the letters to see when he was in Mexico as I think it was after this

That the plaintiff and defendant lived together as husband and wife until the 16th day of March, 1922, when they separated, the said defendant leaving their hime in the Town of Eaton, Indiana, and wholly abandoning the plaintiff, and that they have not lived or cohabitated together since as husband and wife.
That the defendant left plaintiff without cause and against her wishes. That the defendant has been guilty of cruel and inhuman treatment of the plaintiff in this, that before their said separation he struck and cursed and abused this plaintiff, and was cruell and abusive to her child.

Marriage 26 July 1913 Dora B Barlow; Delaware Co., Indiana, Marriage bk C-21 pg 294 they remarried - my Evd # 262 c
Marriage before 12 March 1915 Erie Ellen Davis (Choctaw blood); in her father's probate, she is identified as Erie Rhinehart so they had to have married prior to the probate date1
Residence 26 November 1916 Poteau, Le Flore Co., Oklahoma, There is an assumption that he lived there on this date as there is a picture of his sister Anna Jane (Rhinehart) Goff and her daughters Gladys & Bessie that gives this date, and the location of "Poteau, Okla."
Military 31 May 1917 Poteau, Le Flore Co., Oklahoma, WWI Draft Registration Cards 1917-1918 on Ancestry which says he was born in ___ Tulsa OK on 30 Jul 1890. Being born in OK doesn't jibe with his birth record but the date does. Also says he had previously been a private in the US Army Infantry.
