Luther also adm of Ruth Bates estate in 1898 & exec of Hunry Cumberland in 1899. Luther E Kile was exec of estate of Joseph Underwood who may be the brother of my Sarah. |

James (#3) Kile; Not found - even taking names of neighbors from 1850, and couldn't find them either. Maybe census taker missed that section??? Kathryn Bassett also searched Heritage Quest Online for all 80-90 year olds in Monongalia Co and nothing even close to the Kile name showed up.1 |

To my wife Margaretta all my household goods and furniture. to my eldest sister Mary my negro wench "Bett." To my nephew John Stevenson, my negro boy, and my silver-hilted sword, and £5, adn my riding horse now in the custody of William Bancker, and a mare now in the custody of Myndert Winple. I leave to my nephew, James Stevenson, a negro boy, and to my niece, sara Stevenson, a negro girl. I leave to my three sisters my house and lot where I now live, and all the rest of my estate, real and personal. I appoint philip Livingston, Esq., and James stevenson, of Albany, merchants, executors. Dated April 29, 1740. Witnesses, John DePeyster, John Beekman, Jr., William Livingston. Proved before Jacob c. Ten Eyck, Esq., appointed by Hon. Hames DeLancy, March 17, 1760. James Stevenson was then the surviving executor.1 |

New Utrecht, Kings Co., New York, In the name of God, Amen, September 6, 1761. I, Petrus Groenendyck, of New Utrecht, in Kings, county, blacksmith, being sick. I leave to my wife Rebecca the use of all of my estate in Kings County and elsewhere while she remains my widow, except the moneys now due me, by bond or book debt, and all my blacksmith tools. I leave to my son Samuel £200 and all my tools when of age. Also my gun, and sword hilt, and my Cartouch box, and £15 to buy him a horse and saddle. I leave to my daughter Mayke £115, and to my daughter Maria £115 when of age, or married. All the rest of my real and personal estate I leave to my son Samuel, and he is to pay to my two daughters £120, in various payments. I leave to my wife the interest on the money owing to me to maintain and bring up my children. And I leave all the rest of my estate to my three children.
