| To-Do | Robert Ferrell Jr; Hypothesis: that Robert (b.1778) is the father of Harrison (b.1812). Work needs to be done in Calhoun county to prove or disprove. | |
| To-Do | Thornton Fleming Ferrell; Hypothesis: that Harrison and Thornton are brothers. Work needs to be done in Calhoun county (and Marion county) to prove or disprove. Linn Baker says: It troubles me that I cannot find out how he came by the land in Marion County that he and Harrison were paying taxes on. Have found no wills, probate records in Monongalia or Marion. I have looked at some chancery records and found nothing either. I don't have that land record, so that is one specific one to look for. | |
| Birth | 11 July 1812 | Leading Creek, Calhoun Co., West Viirginia, Grandson says 1812 and place, Ancestry World Tree gives this exact date but what is the source? Also says his parents are Uriah M & Hannah (Pride) Ferrell and that Uriah is son of Henry H & Elizabeth (Lewis) Ferrell, son of Robert & Hannah. However, that is NOT possible since both Harrison and Uriah were born in 1812. He *could*, be a brother to Uriah though.1 |
| Census1840 | 1840 | East Monongalia, Monongalia Co., West Virginia, Indexed on Ancestry as Hurrdon Ferrell, it definitely reads as Harrison to me. These are probably siblings he's living with. 2m20-30 1f0-5 1f5-10 1f30-30 |
