Marriage Eve Swiger; Ft Pitt (Pittsburgh), Alleghany Co., Pennsylvania, [In Hepzibah WV] Barnes Allen planted four hills of corn, which gave him a settlement right to 400 acres, built a log cabin on his land, wentto Fort Pitt, there married Eve Swiger, a German woman, and returned with his bride to his cabin in the wilderness, where he established his home, cleared a farm and became the father of 4 sons and 2 daughters.
